World Parrot Trust. I am apolitical, and not much for joining “causes”. Regardless of the perceived justice of a “cause”, I always wonder whether trying to change the world isn’t a fools errand. Most of us have enough work to do to become a good person, and we should give our fellow humans the same privilege without trying to change the way they live their own lives. But, I am a member of a few organizations that I believe in. I don’t ask others to join. But, I do make my interests known occasionally. The World Parrot Trust is one of them. I love parrots and I want them to thrive. I do my bit with my rescues that live with me at the office. So, look at your own life, and pursue your own interests. Ignore those who want to tell you how to live or what choices to make. Be yourself. That is hard enough, isn’t it?
