In a sedentary law practice, I even get gentle vibration reminders when I have been sitting too long, reminding me to take a walk and get active. However, the future is in portable medical devices, and this little Kardia EKG monitor is the most amazing tech I have seen in a while. For $99 and a bluetooth connection to a Smartphone, you can get a medical grade EKG anytime anywhere. For $9.95 a month, it will record the results, and you can create a body of recordings that any cardiologist would find useful for diagnostic purposes. The first one is automatically reviewed by a cardiologist and the results sent back to you. Mine showed a normal sinus rhythm, and a 72 heart rate, which is in range for me. Now, I just have to remember to take one regularly.
