Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson and his wife, singer and songwriter, Ciara, have both signed with Creative Artists Agency. CAA will help represent the couple in their film and television endeavors. CAA will also represent Wilson’s media and production company, West2East Empire.
In August 2018, West2East partnered with Bunim/Murray Productions to develop and produce a new television show. Wilson is currently executive directing a show featuring two celebrities stranded on a desert island for five days.
Wilson continues to be represented by agent Mark Rodgers of FrontLine Athlete Management, for his NFL contracts. Wilson currently has one year left on his deal and will make $17,000,000 next season, before becoming an unrestricted free agent. At the time of signing his current contract three years ago, Wilson was the second highest paid player in the league.
Ciara has sold over 23 million records worldwide and was previously represented by Raw Artists Agency. She is also signed by IMG Models. As part of the relationship, CAA will also work alongside Ciara for music touring and commercials. CAA-GBG, Global Brand Management Group, will take on Wilson’s lifestyle brand, Good Man Brand.
Wilson and Ciara also co-founded the nonprofit, The Why Not You Foundation, which focuses on empowering the youth generation to be leaders in the future.
