How did you get involved in bar service? Great mentors and supportive bosses.
What is your favorite TYLA project and why? I love our law-focused education projects (see https://tyla.org/educators/). My favorite person is an educator, so I am passionate about supporting educators and students.
What tips can you give to other attorneys to manage stress? Set priorities and keep them in place. Set your “hours of operation” for work and stick with them. Stay active and eat healthy.
What do you do in your spare time? As a wife, mom, lawyer, and volunteer, spare time is a rarity. If we have it, we spend it outside or doing fun things with the kids.
What is one thing most people don’t know about you? My family spent two years living abroad in the Middle East. My daughter was actually born there. It was an amazing experience!
Anything else you wish to share? I am so blessed to be a part of TYLA. I am proud to be in this profession and share the “lawyer” title with so many amazing people.
