CAA Olympic and action sports agent Lowell Taub has made his exit from the agency as he has recently announced the start of his own sports agency titled Stoked Management.
Amidst the recent round of layoffs by CAA, Taub decided that now would be the perfect time to start his own venture after a 13-year career with CAA that began in 2007.
Taub has made his name representing Olympic and action sports athletes such as snowboarder Chloe Kim and skateboarder Nyjah Huston among many others, per Sports Business Journal. Clientele have also included Shawn White and skier Bode Miller. Taub’s departure includes the departure of his clients from the agency as well.
Although Taub is known for representing athletes in the action sports space, he told SBJ that he won’t close the door on representing athletes in other sports such as golf and e-sports.
Taub was voted to the SBJ 40 Under 40 in 2014 and his a graduate of Cornell University. Stoked Management will be headquartered out of Taub’s home office in Livingston, New Jersey.
