The shift to digital events poses numerous technical and organizational challenges, but it also offers opportunities.

COVID-19 has been disrupting our lives for six months now. We all continue to adjust, creating makeshift home offices and figuring out how to best light our video calls. We’re also making big changes in how we conduct business. Thankfully, virtual events are now fully pivoted and ready for us to join.

There are many advantages to digital events. First, it can reach a wider audience because virtual events present fewer scheduling and logistical conflicts. Potential attendees don’t need to find time to travel in their busy schedules. In addition, an online conference that provides an effective array of digital connection tools for participants and speakers can create a more active networking environment.

ACC: The Most Comprehensive In-House Legal Conference

The Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC), the largest in-house counsel professional organization, is rising to the challenge of running an online-only event. Its 2020 annual conference, running from October 12, will be 100% virtual.

With a global network of chapters and a vast library of online content, ACC is dedicated to providing in-house counsel with support and guidance to help enhance the delivery of legal services to corporate clients.

Last year’s ACC annual meeting drew 4000 participants from 36 countries. This year’s virtual conference looks to have an even larger turnout with a mix of live and on-demand sessions running around the clock to serve a global audience.

LawGeex Shows Up Every Year: How About You?

Our team at LawGeex has been attending ACC meetings since 2016. You can always find us at the Annual Meeting, both as participants and presenters. Why? Because the presentations are always substantive and crowds are always lively.

With this year’s conference entirely online, we expect an even broader range of presentations that dig deep into numerous topics affecting legal teams worldwide.

The LawGeex session, The GC’s Guide to Rightsourcing in 2021, explores the benefits of insourcing vs. outsourcing legal services, and how to incorporate AI and automation as a new option for tech-enabled insourcing.

You can find the LawGeex session filed under the Business & Leadership and Legal Operations Curriculum tags. It promises to be an action-oriented, skills development session with leading legal professionals from across the globe.

In addition to Ido Oren, LawGeex Solution Architect, the panel includes Brian Corbin, Executive Director and Assistant General Counsel, JP Morgan Chase; Elisa Lambertini, General Counsel, GE Power Conversion; and Todd Sulger, Deputy General Counsel, HP Inc. Other sessions touch on everything from career development and wellness, to specific practice areas and information on corporate governance, and compliance. For the full agenda click here.

Visit the LawGeex Virtual Booth: We Want to Hear From You

All ACC members can visit the exhibit hall and contact our virtual booth regardless of whether they have registered for the conference. (But really, you’ll want to attend some of the sessions; there’s bound to be one that takes your fancy!)

Of course, we’re not going to miss out on connecting with attendees. LawGeex will have a virtual booth offering exciting gifts and leadership resources.

It wouldn’t be a conference if we didn’t have swag and goodies for you. When you visit the LawGeex virtual booth, we’ll be delighted to offer you an eGift card. We’re even offering a chance to win a personal home AI assistant in a special raffle. Our daily raffle will also give out other prizes to booth visitors.

Mostly, we want to hear from you, the people working on the ground at in-house legal departments. Let us know what your challenges are. Ask us anything about how the LawGeex AI-powered contracting platform can seamlessly integrate with your workflow. Maybe you’re curious about how quickly LawGeex accelerates deal closure (3x faster, BTW), or want to hear more about its ROI.

When you visit the LawGeex virtual booth, we’ll be delighted to offer you a choice between an eGift card or a donation to The United States Justice Foundation

Our team can answer your questions and share on point materials that will help you navigate through AI’s impact on legal departments successfully. In short, the LawGeex virtual booth will be full of valuable information, industry-leading resources, fantastic goodies, and nice people.

ACC’s Annual Meeting is definitely worth the price of admission. But regardless of whether you plan to register for the conference, be sure to visit the LawGeex booth in the free exhibit hall.
