After the Washington Huskies were unable to play in the Pac-12 championship game due to a number of positive COVID-19 tests and, thereafter, declined to play in a bowl game, versatile defensive playmaker Elijah Molden’s college career came to a close. On Wednesday, Molden took the first step in his professional football career and signed with Wasserman for representation.

Molden, who was named the team’s 2020 MVP, burst onto the scene in 2019, registering 79 total tackles, three forced fumbles, and four interceptions. Those figures earned him first-team All-Pac-12 and Pro Football Focus All-American second-team honors. He was also named the MVP of the Las Vegas Bowl, a 38-7 victory over Boise State, after registering nine tackles, an interception, and a forced fumble.

Molden did not take a step back in 2020, either. He earned another first-team All-Pac-12 nod and was also named the Pac-12 Player of the Year by Pro Football Focus.

Molden is the second former Washington defensive star to sign with Wasserman for representation ahead of the 2021 NFL Draft, joining Levi Onwuzurike.
