Jason Ranne and Chafie Fields of Wasserman have added a new name to their client list: Brooklyn Nets newest player James Harden. Harden, 31, was traded to the Brooklyn Nets from the Houston Rockets in a blockbuster four-team deal. The Brooklyn Nets will be receiving James Harden, and a second-round pick; Rockets will be getting Victor Oladipo, Dante Exum, Rodions Kurucs, four first-round pics, and four pick swaps; Cavaliers will be getting Jarrett Allen, Taurean Prince; Pacers get Caris LeVert, and a second-round pick. Within his previous season, Harden averaged 33.3 points per game, 6.4 rebounds per game, and 7.6 assists per game.
Wasserman specializes in transforming client’s businesses, brands, and careers. Earlier this year, Wasserman worked with Russell Westbrook to get him traded to the Wizards. Harden will be joining NBA Clients such as Joel Embiid, Kris Humphries, Kelly Olynyk, amongst others.
Harden was previously represented by Rob Pelinka at Landmark, until Pelinka gave up his agent-duties and became the GM of the Los Angeles Lakers. He was then represented by Diana Day at Landmark. Up until his signing with Wasserman, Harden was represented by his mother, Monja Willis, according to RocketsWire.
