University of Alabama quarterback, Mac Jones, has made some big decisions within the last 24 hours. He is leaving school early to turn pro and has also signed with ESM for off-the-field representation including endorsements, appearances, and media. Jones made a huge improvement in his draft stock this past year, which was capped off by a record-setting CFP National Championship title. He is now projected to be drafted in the first round of the 2021 NFL draft. Mac Jones will be joining NFL players Will Grier, Nick Chubb, Jonathan Taylor, and more by signing on with ESM for marketing representation.

The redshirt junior is from Jacksonville, Florida, where he attended The Bolles School. During high school, he earned a four-star ranking from Rivals, ESPN, and 247Composite. He also helped lead his school to the Florida 4A State Championship game as a senior in 2016, passing for 1,532 yards and 29 touchdowns. Jones redshirted during his first season at the University of Alabama. It was not until 2019, during his sophomore season, that Jones made his first career start. He made his first career start when Tua Tagovailoa was injured at Mississippi State.

This past season, Jones earned the starting role at quarterback. He also became one of the Crimson Tide’s permanent team captains for the 2020 season. Jones was the winner of the Davey O’Brien and Johnny Unitas Golden Arm awards, a consensus first-team All-America selection (AFCA, Associated Press, The Sporting News, Walter Camp), as well as being named a first-teamer by ESPN.com, Pro Football Focus, and USA Today. This season he also earned second-team All-America recognition from CBS Sports and the FWAA. Jones was selected as one of the four Heisman Trophy finalists, joining teammate and eventual winner Devonta Smith on the list. He was a finalist for the Manning and Maxwell awards and the Walter Camp Player of the Year. Jones was named a semifinalist for the Peter Mortell Holder of the Year.
