We’re thrilled to welcome four new blogs to the LexBlog community. The first is concerned with achieving the optimal eDiscovery experience for Baker Donelson’s clients. Next are two publications concerned with workplace management practices. The final blog takes a bit of a departure, sharing important insights into Chinese legal news. Read on to learn more about these new publications.

LeanDiscovery

LeanDiscovery is a Baker Donelson blog centered on eDiscovery improvement. The publication features interviews from experts in the field with a focus on “the principle that eDiscovery can be improved by lowering costs and delivering more value to enable better client outcomes.” The blog is produced alongside the LeanDiscovery podcast, which is featured on the site and hosted by Clinton Sanko, a firm shareholder and eDiscovery and document review officer.

Baker Donelson has 21 offices in 10 states and Washington, D.C. The firm also has several blogs on a variety of topics outside of eDiscovery, including IP and the autonomous vehicle industry.

Up next are two workplace-centered blogs and a new publication out of China focusing on the country’s economic regulation.

  • Professional Practices Alliance is a self-described “multi-disciplinary collaboration” made up of specialists from two different law firms and an accountancy firm, as well as a partner remuneration specialist and a law firm management consultant.  The blog shines a spotlight on a variety of timely workplace facilitation matters, ranging from COVID protocol to financial management to diversity and inclusion.
  • Wage and Hour Development is a new blog from a familiar face. Perkins Coie‘s latest LexBlog publication focuses on the news in administrative labor developments, as they affect employers. The blog covers a variety of topics such as class and collective actions, timekeeping, employment classification, and more.
  • We’re always looking for more international perspectives. “RegFlux is a blog on law in China, not just ‘Chinese law’ as typically understood.” In a country where the economy simply can’t be discusses in solely domestic terms, RegFlux is keeping up with regulatory updates coming out of China and their subsequent social and economic impacts. The blog is published by Long an Law, a Shanghai law firm.
