On 31 March 2022, the European Union Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators (ACER) published an updated version of its Transaction Reporting User Manual (TRUM) and its Annex II. The update follows a five month consultation and the amendments provide guidance on the reporting of transactions related to the transportation of natural gas, which need to be reported to ACER according to the implementing regulation to the Regulation on wholesale energy market integrity and transparency (REMIT).

ACER has also published an updated:

  • 13th edition of the FAQs on REMIT transaction reporting. The updated edition includes new FAQs to better reflect the evolution of the trading activity on EU markets.
  • 27th edition of its Q&As on REMIT policy, which introduces three new Q&As coordinated with the relevant Member State regulatory authorities.
