Hansel Enmanuel, teenage basketball sensation, has struck the first official international NIL deal, partnering with Banreservas, one of the Dominican Republic’s largest financial institutions.

Earlier last week, Enmanuel met with Banreservas CEO, Enrique Ramirez, in the Dominican Republic to close the deal. Currently, the institution has athletic partnerships with stars including San Diego Padres’ Fernando Tatis and Toronto Raptors’ Chris Duarte.

Enmanuel, a current high school athlete at Life Christian Academy, has quickly garnered fame showcasing his talent via social media, earning over one million followers on Instagram. Enmanuel is set to graduate later this spring and has been offered division-1 scholarships from a variety of universities.

“[I am] happy to be able to represent my country the Dominican Republic & partner with such a reputable financial institution” Enmanuel said.

Z-Axis Sports, a boutique agency out of Port St. Lucie Florida, is beyond excited for the potential such a deal has for the future of NIL and hopes other agencies take suit. “Hansel is an inspiration to all, but most importantly a super star with a humble heart to everyone that knows him. This is only the beginning for this super star, truly honored to be part of his journey.” -Jhoancy Zapata, President of Z-Axis Sports, said.
