The Competitive Pricing Division of the Wireline Competition Bureau (WCB) of the Federal Communications (FCC or Commission) has issued an Order approving the formulas for average-schedule interstate settlement disbursements that will be used for tariff year July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2023.  The formulas were filed pursuant to FCC rules on December 22, 2021.  WCB sought comment on NECA’s 2022 filing in a public notice released February 10, 2022.   No comments or reply comments were filed.  The formula changes would result in a 2.8% overall increase in average-schedule settlement disbursements at constant demand but that is expected to be offset by projected losses of access lines and reductions in demand for special access services.
