Excel Sports Management had 5 of its clients selected in the top 20 of the 2022 NBA Draft. The company represents 10 of the 58 selections (17% of the NBA Draft) during the entire night of June 23, 2022. 3 of its clients were lottery picks and it had 7 clients off the board before the end of the first round.
LIFT Sports Management, created by 2-time NBA Champion Mike Miller, represents the first overall pick Paolo Banchero and had another one of its clients, Wendell Moore, Jr., selected in the first round of the 2022 NBA Draft. Banchero was chosen by the same team (the Orlando Magic) that grabbed Miller in the draft (5th overall) many years ago.
