MEADVILLE, PA- CRAWFORD COUNTY
The Meadville Pennsylvania State Police station reports that it made five arrests during its July 2nd, 2022 DUI checkpoint in West Mead Township, PA. The state police previously announced that it would be conducting DUI checkpoints and enforcement patrols during the July 4th holiday weekend.
The department reported that it interacted with 149 drivers. Out of those encounters, there were three arrests for suspected driving under the influence of alcohol, one arrest for suspected driving under the influence of a controlled substance, one arrest for possession of a controlled substance or drug paraphernalia, ten citations for traffic offenses, and one warning.
