Advent International has announced it will acquire PatientPoint.
PatientPoint, founded in 1987 and based in Cincinnati, Ohio, is a digital point-of-care network delivering educational content and diagnostic tools to patients and providers.
Advent, founded in 1984 and with U.S. offices in Boston, New York and Palo Alto, California, is a global private equity firm that focuses on investments in five core sectors, including healthcare.
Advent will be acquiring PatientPoint from an investor group led by L Catterton and Littlejohn & Co.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
