On October 16, 2025, Jonathan Porter and I presented the second webinar in our Government Enforcement, Compliance & Investigations series—our topic: the False Claims Act (FCA). To provide background, we explained the framework of the FCA, how investigations are triggered, and notable recent FCA decisions. Then, for the second half of the hour, we discussed five key areas of enforcement—healthcare fraud, PPP loan fraud, customs/tariff enforcement, illegal discrimination, and cybersecurity in government contracting. While we were only able to scratch the surface on some of these areas, you can expect a deeper dive into them in the future. To watch the full presentation, visit this link.

The next webinar in the series will be antitrust enforcement by Wendy Arends and Mark Tobey on November 12, 2025. Register here.
