  • The California Air Resources Board’s latest workshop on rulemaking for SB 253, the Climate Corporate Data Accountability Act. Among other things, CARB staff reminded participants that the first-year reporting deadline for in-scope companies remains August 10, 2026. The workshop also provided an early look at 2027 reporting.
  • A lawsuit brought against the SEC by two shareholder advocates who allege that the Rule 14a-8 “no action” policy change violates the Administrative Procedure Act in numerous ways.
