Enoki Mushrooms recalled due to Listeria

Alert Notification: 2026.19 — Category 1: For Action

Product: Green Box Limited Enoki Mushroom (Cendawan Enoki) Pack Size: 100g Batch Codes: G22029 and G22030 Country of Origin: China

Reason for Recall These batches are being recalled due to the presence of Listeria monocytogenes.

Health Risk Listeria monocytogenes can cause flu-like or gastrointestinal symptoms, including nausea, vomiting, and diarrhoea. In rare cases, the infection can lead to serious complications. Those most at risk include pregnant women, infants, the elderly, and people with weakened immune systems. The incubation period averages 3 weeks but can range from 3 to 70 days.

Action Required

  • Retailers: Remove the affected batches from sale and display recall notices at point-of-sale.
  • Wholesalers/Distributors: Contact affected customers, recall the implicated batches, and provide point-of-sale recall notices to retailer customers.
  • Caterers: Do not use the affected batches.
  • Consumers: Do not eat the affected batches.

Brian Ernst joined Marler Clark in 2026. Prior to joining Marler Clark, Brian worked at a Seattle law firm where he focused on litigating a variety of matters in state and federal courts. He was named a Super Lawyer “Rising Star” in 2024.

Brian graduated magna cum laude from Seattle University School of Law. During law school, Brian served as Executive Editor at Large of the Seattle University Law Review and the Vice Chair of the Moot Court Board. Brian was the winner of the Fredric C. Tausend Moot Court Competition and was chosen by the faculty as one of two Faculty Trust Scholars for his graduating class. Brian committed much of his time outside the classroom to youth, volunteering for the Seattle Youth Traffic Court, Street Law teaching program, the Youth Advocacy Clinic, and the civil legal aid organization Team Child. Originally from Oregon, Brian attended the University of Puget Sound where he served as student body president and graduated with a degree in politics and government.
