This month, we’re featuring Olaf, the lovable Ragdoll cat belonging to Mark Saporsky, Staff Attorney in Atlanta.
Olaf came with his name, and it couldn’t be more fitting. Named after the snowman from Frozen, he lives up to it – spacey and silly.
Now 3.5 years old, Olaf joined the family in a whirlwind adoption. When a former colleague could no longer keep him, Mark and his kids were at her apartment within the hour to bring him home.
Olaf has strong opinions about treats, especially his dental chews. While intended to clean his teeth, Olaf prefers to swallow them whole, completely defeating the purpose but enjoying them nonetheless.
He also brings a distinctly dog-like energy to the household. Whenever Mark leaves, Olaf waits by the door and greets him enthusiastically upon return.
Of course, Olaf has his quirks. He enjoys leaping onto bookshelves to knock items to the floor and has a habit of standing on anything with buttons, frequently turning on air purifiers, dehumidifiers, and even the robot vacuum.
What truly sets Olaf apart, though, is his gentle nature. He shares a special bond with Mark’s kids, sleeping at the foot of their beds and joining them for nightly story time, making him a cherished part of the family.
