This podcast examines the FCA’s highly anticipated policy statement (PS26/15) on improving the UK transaction reporting regime. This follows from a consultation paper (CP25/32) on the same topic that was published back in November 2025. The policy statement comes within the context of HM Treasury’s intention to repeal UK MiFIR – the retained version of the EU MiFIR regime and the FCA has been enabled to lay down the detailed rules for the transaction reporting framework that replaces the old retained regime.
