The State Bar of Texas Board of Directors will meet at 8 a.m. on September 25 at the Texas Law Center in Austin. The meeting is open to the public and will be broadcast live on the State Bar of Texas YouTube channel.

Among the agenda items, the board will discuss solicitation of candidates to serve as chair of the 2027-2028 Board of Directors and consider and discuss approval of the Discipline & Client Attorney Assistance Committee recommendation regarding the Committee on Disciplinary Rules and Referenda’s proposed changes to Texas Rule of Disciplinary Procedure 2.12.
Those who wish to address the board in person during the meeting should fill out a speaker card at the beginning of the meeting and submit it to a staff member onsite.
