Following up on a previous post regarding litigation against Kars4Kids that led to an injunction prohibiting ads in California unless certain modifications were made to them, a California state appellate court subsequently stayed that injunction before it went into effect. (The case is docketed in the 4th Appellate District Division 3 under the name Puterbaugh v. Kars4Kids Inc, case number G066058.) In the wake of that decision, the Canadian Broadcast Corporation removed its ban on Kars4Kids ads. The appeal filed by Kars4Kids on the merits of the lower court decision is still pending.
