We could not be more delighted to announce that Harriet Pearson, currently Vice-President, Security Counsel and Chief Privacy Officer at IBM, is joining Hogan Lovells as a partner in the Privacy and Information Management practice effective August 1.  Harriet is a true “rock star” in the privacy and information security world, as reflected by her numerous honors and affiliations, including the IAPP Vanguard Award given annually by the IAPP to the single professional who exemplifies leadership and innovation in the field of privacy.  We know our clients, colleagues and the privacy world generally will benefit greatly from Harriet being here at the firm.  So we say “Welcome, Harriet!”   The firm’s formal announcement is here.
