Nancy Huehnergarth is a consultant on nutrition/physical activity advocacy and policy. She is the co-founder and executive director of the New York State Healthy Eating and Physical Activity Alliance (NYSHEPA), a statewide coalition dedicated to improving policies and practices that promote healthy eating and physical activity. Bettina Elias Siegel is a former lawyer, freelance magazine writer and blogger. A graduate of Yale College and Harvard Law School, Siegel has practiced intellectual property and advertising law in New York City, including litigation and corporate transactions at a mega-firm (Skadden, Arps), becoming Spiderman?s lawyer (Marvel Comics), and reviewing the marketing and advertising of hundreds of brands Unilever U.S. In early 2010, merging her interest in children and food with her love of writing, she launched The Lunch Tray, a widely read, daily blog covering anything related to “kids and food, in school and out”.
