Courtney Sonn

Courtney Sonn is a law clerk in the Litigation Department. Her practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, including antitrust, contract disputes, business torts, and First Amendment matters. She has contributed to case teams representing clients across a range of industries.

Courtney also maintains an active pro bono practice, advocating on behalf of asylum seekers and tenants in housing matters.

Courtney earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Fordham University School of Law. During law school, she served as a bench editor for the Moot Court Board and a legal writing advisor to first-year students. Courtney also externed in the Southern District of New York.

Before law school, Courtney worked for six years as a news producer for Hearst Television, covering national politics.
