Had a word with a contact from the Serious Fraud Office about the powers or search and seizure of data etc. It looks as though they have wide ranging powers. They search under Section 2 of the CJA 1987 and occasionally search warrants under PACE. Basically they can ask/search for anything they deem relevant to and investigation.
