Fox News Sunday posted a transcript of their May 20, 2007 interview of Justice Sandra Day O’Connor who is one of my heros. As demonstrated in the interview, Justice O’Connor has not really fully retired. She is working on developing a web site to introduce children to our court system which is surely needed. I will be sure to show it to my two daughters and to post its URL on this blog.
Additionally, Justice O’Connor thankfully is still hearing some cases in the circuits. It is common that retired Supreme Court Justices are invited to sit in the circuits. For example, she has recently participated in several important decisions issued in the Second Circuit.
