Omaha’s Mayor just signed the “Equal Omaha” law, which prohibits employment discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity. We reported in our May 31, 2011 blog that Nevada has just pased a similar law which bans discrimination based upon gender identity or expression.
According to the March 16th issue of LBGTQNation, an opponent of the Omaha law declared that the law is a violation of his first amendment rights.
Perhaps the Constitution should be a required course in elementary of high schools
