shutterstock_97427183Tonight marks the beginning of the Yom HaShoah, Holocaust Memorial Day. The members of Greenberg Traurig around the world join in the commemoration of this somber day. On that note, we are honored to announce that one of the key members of our Israel Practice, Keith Shapiro, vice president of the firm and chairman of the Chicago office, has just been appointed co-chair of the Illinois Holocaust and Genocide Commission by Illinois Governor Bruce Rauner. The commission provides guidance on Holocaust and genocide education and commemoration across the state.
