shutterstock_143069239Bram Industries, Ltd., an Israeli plastics products manufacturer, announced plans to open its first U.S. plant in Savannah, Ga.  David Schulman, a shareholder in Greenberg Traurig’s Atlanta office, supported Bram Industries in its efforts. The company will invest several million dollars in the new plant, and expects to employ at least 60 people within three years. Production at the plant is expected to start later this year.

Bram Industries, which is based in Sderot, Israel, produces plastic kitchen utensils, tableware, housewares, and storage containers. The products are sold in the United States, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.

Greenberg Traurig attorneys assisted Bram Industries with corporate, real estate, and tax matters, including the negotiation of advantageous tax concessions from the Savannah Economic Development Authority.
