Education: South Texas College of Law (JD); St. Edwards Universit (BA & BS).

Areas of practice: Personal Injury/Pharmaceutical Product Liability.

Best thing about being a lawyer: Finding creative ways to leverage the law in your clients favor.

Most important career lesson: The importance of your reputation among your peers and the community.

What do you think is the biggest challenge facing attorneys today? Safeguarding the right to trial by jury.

Last book you read: Blink by Malcolm Gladwell.

Favorite restaurant: Even tie between Danton’s & Sylvia’s Enchilada Kitchen.

Bet you didn’t know: As a child I had a silver smile, literally my teeth were capped with silver crowns.

Culinary talent: BBQ master and I can make a worthy Texas chili.

Community Involvement: Big Brothers and Habitat for Humanity.

What’s on your iPod right now? I don’t own an iPod but if I did it would contain eclectic mix of Indie Rock, R&B, Jazz, & Dubstep.

Who would you want playing you in a movie? Probably Pierce Brosnan.

Favorite saying/quote: “Remember that it is not the lawyer who knows the most law, but the one who best prepares his case, who wins.”

Pet peeve: Negative people.

Favorite TV program: I don’t watch TV.

The last movie I saw: American Sniper.

Favorite food: Chips & salsa.

Favorite sport: Running, football, basketball.

Hobbies: Running, Bowling, any outdoor activity.

If I had more time, I would: Find more adventure.

Another little known fact: My sister and I have dogs who are also siblings.

If you could be anyone else for a day, who would it be? Dalai Lama.

If you weren’t an attorney, what profession do you think you would be in? Sales.

What has changed the most technologically or practice wise since you have been licensed? Use of Cloud services like DropBox & SugarSync to collaborate with clients and peers.

How do you think the practice will change in the next 15 years? Holographic presence at trial/hearings/depositions, or at least it would be cool if that could happen.
