Greenberg Traurig Tel Aviv was recently honored to host the Stanford Alumni Israel Chapter at its offices. The group, led by Ms. Karni Chagal (LLM, Stanford Class of 2009), holds several events annually and currently counts roughly fifty members in its chapter.

The gathering coincided with the first visit to Israel by Professor Jon A. Krosnick (Professor of Communication, Political Science, Psychology at Stanford University, Stanford Class of 1980). Attendees of the gathering were treated to a presentation by Prof. Krosnick, whose research has led to several invites for presentations at the White House, entitled, “What Americans Really Think About Climate Change.” The presentation utilized aggregated survey data from the past 15 years to provide a better picture of the opinion of popular American opinion surrounding Global Warming, and how those opinions vary due to political, social and environmental change. A stimulating Q&A session followed the presentation. The event was a great success and emblematic of the importance GT Tel Aviv places on nurturing relationships with organizations that serve as a bridge between Israel and the U.S.—a core component of our office’s commitment to serving our clients.

Greenberg Traurig’s Tel Aviv office is unique as it is the only full-time, fully-staffed office of an AMLAW100 in Israel. In addition to our full suite of Corporate, IP-Technology and Transactional service offerings, attorneys in our office are well versed in assisting Israeli clients in cross-office collaborations with GT’s Silicon Valley Office, to provide our Stanford Alumni and other Silicon Valley-relevant clients with the full complement of our International services.
