Chaparral Energy, Inc., an independent oil and natural gas exploration and production company, and ten of its affiliates have commenced cases under Chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code by filing petitions with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware. The Honorable Laurie Selber Silverstein will preside over the cases. The debtors have filed various motions for first-day and a declaration in support thereof, all of which are available from the website of Kurtzman Carson Consultants, LLC.
