Last week, our global chair for the Cybersecurity, Privacy and Crisis Management Practice, Rudolph W. Giuliani, toured Germany for the first time in his capacity as a member of GT. He went to Frankfurt and Berlin, speaking at various conferences and receptions. During his visit, Rudy gave keynotes at several events in the German-American business community and policy networks.
One of the highlights of the trip was Rudy’s keynote on cybersecurity that he gave jointly with Bill Morrow, CEO of Quarri Technologies, in front of 2000 people at the leading internet conference, NOAH. Further, Giuliani spoke before some 1000 leaders of the German real estate industry at the annual meeting of Germany’s leading real estate association ZIA. Rudy also met with politicians at European, Federal and State level, including Federal Urban Planning Minister Hendricks, Federal Transportation and Digital Infrastructure Minister Dobrindt, EU Commissioner Oettinger, and Berlin’s Vice Mayor Henkel.
Rudy was joined by Greenberg Traurig’s Executive Chairman, Richard Rosenbaum, as well as ten shareholders from the London, Tel Aviv, Amsterdam, and Mexico offices who embraced the opportunity to attend the NOAH conference, which the firm will sponsor in London in November 2016.
