On March 25, 2017, Shipman & Goodwin attorney Gary Brochu delivered a presentation entitled “From Awful to Award Winning: One Board’s Path to Excellence” at the National School Boards Association meeting in Denver, Colorado. Gary has presented numerous times at the National School Boards Association on Board Governance issues, and his articles on the topic have appeared in the American School Board Journal and the CABE Journal. He has a webinar series, Board Member Boot Camp, which addresses issues of Board governance and Board member responsibilities.
