On November 8, 2017, Gary Brochu was invited to speak to a group of Southern Connecticut State University Educational Leadership students. Gary’s talk focused on legal issues in the schools, particularly those that directly impact school administrators, and he discussed a framework by which non-lawyers can navigate these issues on a daily basis. In addition, Gary discussed non-legal issues commonly faced by school administrators, such as their relationship and interaction with their Board of Education.
