Shipman and Goodwin attorneys Linda Yoder and Peter Maher will join Robert Mancusi, Executive Director of Special Education and Student Services for Fairfield Public Schools, and Dr. Kim Hapken, Assistant Superintendent of Special Services for Ridgefield Public Schools to present the session, “How SPED Directors and Attorneys Work Together” on March 29, 2018.

Focused discussion will include:

  • Learning each other’s lingo.
  • Mediation and getting everyone on the same page and what to do when you can’t.
  • How to function as partners in this journey for a child’s needs.
  • Understanding policy.
