The Department of State’s (DOS) June 2018 Visa Bulletin showed very little movement the employment-based categories.  Referring to the Final Action Dates, the following are the updates for the June Visa Bulletin:

EB-1: China Mainland and India had no movement, with a cut-off date of Jan. 1, 2012.  All other categories remain current.

EB-2: The cutoff date for worldwide chargeability, El Salvador/Guatemala/Honduras, Mexico, and the Philippines all remain current.  India EB-2 moved forward slightly by just a few days, from Dec. 22, 2008, to Dec. 26, 2008, while China EB-2 remained the same, at Sept. 1, 2014.

EB-3:  In the EB-3 category, the cutoff date for worldwide chargeability remains current, as do the El Salvador/Guatemala/Honduras and Mexico categories.  China Mainland, India, and the Philippines had no movement at all. The cut off for China EB-3 remains June 1, 2015; India EB-3 at May 1, 2008; and The Philippines at Jan. 1, 2017.

For those in the EB-5 category, the priority date remains current for all applicants other than those born in mainland China, where the cutoff advanced from July 22, 2014, to Aug. 1, 2014; and Vietnam which moved slightly from July 22, 2014, to Aug. 1, 2014.

For those seeking to adjust status, The United States Citizenship and Immigration Service (USCIS) website indicates that the Department’s Application Final Action Dates chart must be used for filing Form I-485.  This has not yet been updated with the June 2018 dates; however, we anticipate that USCIS will continue to follow Application Final Action Dates for June as it has to date.

Referring to the Final Action Dates, the following are the updates for the June Visa Bulletin:
