A lot can happen in a week. The Vable team always have their ears to the ground and want to highlight a couple of recent information-related items in the news. 

• Last week saw the announcement of Information as an Asset, a joint CILIP/KPMG initiative to get information management issues addressed at Board Level. A forthcoming Vable blogpost will address how marketing and business development (MBD) and client relationship management (CRM) teams are taking the lead in their organisations.
• Today saw the Digital, Culture, Media and Sport Committee publish their long awaited final report on Disinformation and ‘fake news’. Although it repeats many recommendations which were made in the wake of Cambridge Analytica and Facebook, this new ambitious report seems determined to transform the regulatory landscape.
