Hey ya’ll!
Not too long ago, I had the honor of giving a presentation on social enterprises to a group of business owners.
The audio is pretty short, so take a listen along with the slides (I say next to the amazing slide clicker I had so you can follow).
Few heads up:
- This was a breakfast meeting, so you’ll hear some clinking and movement. I promise I wasn’t up there jigging.
- This talk is my take on a very ambiguous topic, based on my experiences and all of the work I’ve done with social enterprises or entrepreneurs. A few minutes in, I make it clear I intend to steer from “strictly” academic definitions because I don’t subscribe to the box they create. This approach may throw off some of you who rely on academic frameworks and explanations. Or swear by industry definitions voted over at a conference. Totally fine. What I’d say is take a breath, hit a quick lotus pose and be open to hearing a different perspective.
Hope you guys enjoy!
