Stories from the field — vLex as official podcast sponsor and host of “CALL for Innovation”

From May 26 to 29th, the Canadian Association of Law Libraries held its annual conference in Edmonton, Alberta. vLex was honoured to sponsor and host CALL’s first ever conference podcast. Entitled CALL for Innovation, the podcast featured an incredible roster of guests, including a joint interview with CALL president Ann Marie Melvie and her U.S. counterpart, AALL president Femi Cadmus.

You can enjoy a sneak peek of that conversation here, where co-host incoming CALL Board member Alan Kilpatrick of the Law Society of Saskatchewan asks the question about who belongs as potential members of CALL/ALLL:

Other interviews held throughout the conference included discussions on AI present and futures, access to justice projects, the difference between service innovation and product experimentation, the importance of books and comprehensive texts in a digital age, renovation projects in courthouse libraries, knowledge management theory and practice, and so much more!

Throughout June and July, vLex and CALL will release these 10–15 minute interviews as a series through multiple media and all your favourite podcast apps.
