Noticing a lack of community and space for trial lawyers, Synergy founder and CEO Jason Lazarus took the initiative to launch Trial Lawyer View Daily. Using LexBlog’s Portal platform, Lazarus was able to establish a site to begin cultivating that sense of community and likeness surrounding resources written by and for trial lawyers.

Currently there are 17 publishers associated with Trial Lawyer View Daily and Lazarus expects to continue seeing growth.

“My hope is that it really fosters that community that we want to make available to trial lawyers so they can highlight for each other issues that they come across in their practices, whether it’s related to cases or related to things that we see day in day out with the things we do,” Lazarus said.

Portals are LexBlog’s way of congregating related information—whether that’s by geographic location, membership, or in Lazarus’ case, topic—all in one  easy-to-access place.

The site is geared towards trial lawyers, their paralegals, their team, and anyone who needs a resource for information related to topics that may be of concern to trial lawyers, Lazarus explained.

Currently, Trial Lawyer View daily hosts an assortment of information relating to each individual blog’s area of expertise or niche. This includes health care, Medicare compliance, public benefit preservation, and more—most falling under the umbrella of personal injury law.

Firms such as Stark & Stark, Searcy, and The Nation Law Firm area already a part of the Portal. Anyone who thinks their blog may fit in can apply to be featured after a thorough review of their RSS feed.

The Portal is just one step towards a much larger goal of community. Lazarus is also creating a podcast called Trial Lawyer View which he sees fitting in nicely with the goals of the website.

“The podcast will hopefully tie in to the portal so that lawyers on the podcast will share their RSS feeds and become a part of the Trial Lawyer View Daily Portal to create that further engagement and community between the people on the podcast and the people that have their blogs highlighted on the portal.”

The podcast and Portal join Lazarus’ already published book, The Art of Settlement: A Lawyer’s Guide to Regulatory Compliance when Resolving Catastrophic Claims. Wielding a clear wealth of knowledge in the practice, Lazarus was the right person to create the space for community among trial lawyers in the area of personal injury law.
