On March 14, 2021, HighPoint Resources Corporation and its affiliates, a Denver, Colorado based company focused on the development of oil and natural gas assets located in the Denver-Julesburg Basin of Colorado, filed a petition for relief under Chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code in the Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware (Case No. 21-10565).  HighPoint Resources Corporation and its affiliates filed petitions under Chapter 11 to effectuate a previously announced prepackaged plan of reorganization and to consummate various transactions pursuant to an agreement and plan of merger executed on November 9, 2020.  The Debtor reports $500 million to $1 billion in both assets and liabilities.  A link to the HighPoint Resources Corporation petition and board resolutions can be found here.

Cole Schotz does not represent the Debtors in this case.  We are posting this for informational purposes only.  If you have received a notice and have any questions, you should contact Debtors’ counsel.
