The Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) has unveiled its 2021 Value Champions, recognizing a dozen law departments, and their outside partners, for using technology and data to optimize legal services and drive value.
“As law departments evolve at a rapid pace, these leaders are on the cutting edge of both developing and implementing transformative approaches,” said Catherine J. Moynihan, associate vice president of legal management services at ACC. Chosen by a panel of past honorees, the champions represent an array of companies across diverse industries, including AbbVie, Rio Tinto, Compass Group, NetApp and UBS. Among the 2021 crop are a pair of two-time co-champions: DXC Technology and UnitedLaw, who used technology to enable high-velocity, risk-calibrated contracting. Check out all the champions here.
