New digs, same great content from Plan Proponent

The Plan Proponent blog has been a stalwart in covering bankruptcy since 2015, but just recently made the jump to the LexBlog platform.

The blog is helmed by David Bury of Stone & Baxter, LLP and is still home to all the posts from years past and a whole slew of new ones. Bury—as the best legal bloggers do—has carved out a niche for himself and focuses much of his writing on developments in Chapter 11 bankruptcy.

However, that doesn’t mean he won’t branch out every now and then—recently Bury even incorporated his hometown team, the Atlanta Braves, into a post—just before they went on to win this year’s World Series. You won’t want to miss that post or his ongoing Bankruptcy Judges series.

Make it a baker’s dozen, Marler Clark launch 13th blog with LexBlog

If it’s a foodborne illness, there’s a good chance Marler Clark has a blog dedicated to it. There is, however, always room for more. So to add to their ever-growing collection of blogs, Marler Clark has launched the Norovirus Blog. Similar to their other disease-specific blogs, this one is here to deliver all the latest news on norovirus in the food industry.

Marler Clark is a longstanding member of the LexBlog community and with Bill Marler himself penning the first posts on this new blog, things are off to a great start.

Check out Marler Clark’s extensive network of blogs which all demonstrate exactly why they are the go to source for news on foodborne illness and related litigation.

The LexBlog Law School Network continues to grow

Mindy Danovaro joined the LexBlog community through the LexBlog Law School Network with her Legal Advancement Blog. Danovaro serves as the Senior Assistant Dean of Advancement at the University of the Pacific’s McGeorge School of Law.

She brings her experience as a nonprofit executive and knowledge of the law to her first venture into legal blogging. Danovaro is also a part of McGeorge Law Today—the first-ever academic digital publishing Journal and community, powered by LexBlog’s Syndication Journal technology.

Four other blogs join the community

  • Joining us from Australia is Sue-Ella Prodonovich—one of the country’s leading specialists in business development for the legal industry and beyond. As the Principal of Prodonovich Advisory she works with all kinds of firms and writes on her blog about topics and issues relevant to her clients.
  • On the other side of the globe, Kadmos Consultants has also joined the LexBlog community. Kadmos is a London-based law firm that exclusively deals with immigration to the UK which is reflected on their blog and its many posts geared towards immigrants.
  • Julie King is a solo attorney based out of Illinois where she practices IP law, business law and more. She leads King Business and Patent Law and its blog which is now a part of both the Illinois Lawyer Now and LexBlog communities.
  • It’s an exciting time for Dan Curto who has just launched his new blog—The Curto Pharma Law Report. He is off to a great start with his first few posts and we expect to see much more from him and his new practice, Curto Pharma Law and Compliance.
