In connection with the new Emergency Temporary Standards (ETS) that went into effect on January 14, 2022, the California Division of Occupational Health and Safety (Cal/OSHA) has released the following COVID-19-related resources for employers:

  • Fact Sheet with Work Exclusion Chart: What Employers and Workers Need to Know About COVID-19 Isolation and Quarantine
  • Fact Sheet: What Employers Need to Know about the New Emergency Temporary Standards; and
  • FAQ: Revisions to the COVID-19 Prevention Emergency Temporary Standards (effective January 14, 2022).

We previously wrote about the revised Cal/OSHA ETS here.

California employers should review their policies and protocols, remain aware of local ordinances and monitor their local health departments for changes to COVID-19 workplace requirements.
