With successful business units already set up across North America, Europe, the UK, and Latin America, vLex will now be investing in Asia-Pacific with a new domestic team led by Daniel Hobson to respond to increased demand in the area.

vLex’s new Head of Business for APAC brings over a decade of experience to the role, and will be based in Indonesia. Daniel will be building a local team to support over 40 countries in their exploration and use of vLex’s services, placing an initial focus on Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia, and New Zealand.

“Having been linked to the business for over 10 years, it is with great excitement that I now return to vLex to lead the expansion into Asia-Pacific,” stated Daniel Hobson. “vLex has been investing heavily to source exclusive content and develop technologies that are becoming increasingly popular with practitioners in some of the key jurisdictions I will be supporting. I look forward to working closely with our existing users as well as the wider market to help shape and transform legal research in the region. Having always been very fond of this part of the world, it is an honour and a delight to be asked to relocate and deliver the vLex vision here, locally, in person.”

“The creation of an Asia-Pacific office and the appointment of Daniel as Head of Business for the region is a key milestone in our continued global expansion,” remarked Aidan Hawes, Head of Commercial Development at vLex Global Markets.
