Shackelford’s Matt Motes will be speaking on Mechanic’s Lien Law on December 2, 2022 for The Basic Construction Course In Texas Construction Law.
Matt is an equity partner in Shackelford, Bowen, McKinley & Norton, LLP, in its’ construction law section. Matt concentrates on construction matters from forming entities to litigation, including trials and final arbitration hearings. During his legal career he has represented home builders, general contractors, owners, developers, subcontractors, suppliers, architects and other design professionals. He obtained his law degree from South Texas College of Law (J.D. 1993) and undergraduate degree from Southwestern University (B.A. 1989). He currently serves as president of the Rotary Club of Western Fort Worth.
