The “U.S. EDGAR Securities Filing System and Database: An Overview and Some Lessons Learned” article provides an overview which would be beneficial to Israeli companies that contemplate registration and/or offering of its securities in the Unites States; or to any Israeli investors or other market participants who contemplate certain significant investments in any issuer with securities registered with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.  This overview would also illustrate to such market participants some of the filing obligations in connection with such activities, as well as how to utilize the EDGAR system for informational and market intelligence purposes, including tracking issuers performance, investment activities and other market information.
